Fees

Fees are established in full transparency with the clients, according to the nature and difficulty of the case and the time spent on processing the file. In accordance with the deontological rules of the legal profession, the fees are subject to an estimate.

There are several invoicing formulas:

  • fees "by the time spent",
  • the "fixed fee" fee
  • the "result" fee.

The result fee is calculated on a result, i.e. on the gain, saving or benefit to the client. It is an additional remuneration over and above the time or flat fee but cannot be the only method of remuneration. A fee for results is of course only due if the client and the lawyer have previously agreed on it in a written agreement.

For corporate law assignments, the fee is generally a lump sum and a detailed estimate, including disbursements, is given to the client.
